A Pattern of turning Blind Eyes and the Deaf Ears towards Terrorism

By Imam Syed Soharwardy www.iscc.ca , www.m-a-t.org March 24, 2016 When I heard the Turkish President Erdogan saying that Turkey did warn Belgium government about one of the alleged Brussels terrorists way before the attacks and the Belgium government did nothing about it, once again it reminded me several similar recent tragedies.

1. The Canadian government was warned 3 times ahead of the attacks at the Canadian Parliament in 2014.  Instead of increasing security, the security was reduced. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/before-parliament-hill-attack-rcmp-got-3-warnings-reduced-patrols-1.3280632
2. The Canadian / Quebec government was warned about an alleged terrorist in Quebec ( Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu ). Nothing was done to stop this terrorist. He ran over an unarmed Canadian soldier.  http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/quebec-hit-and-run/article21187200/
3. Turkish government exposed the alleged involvement of a Canadian intelligence officer involved in helping girls to cross the border into Syria to be used by DAESH terrorists.http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/video-shows-man-with-alleged-links-to-canada-spy-agency-help-girls-go-to-syria/article23447143/
4. French government was warned about the terror attacks in Paris ahead of the attacks.  French government failed to stop it. http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/619618/Iraq-warned-france-ISIS-terror-attacks-ONE-DAY-Paris-atrocities.
5. And now the recent terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium were warned and the terrorist was clearly identified way before the attacks but the Belgium government did nothing to stop it.  http://www.cnbc.com/2016/03/24/
6. There were many intelligence warnings to the United States government about the attacks on 9/11 but nothing was done about it.
7. I testified in front of Canadian Senate’s Committee on National Defence and Security and told them that there were $5000 deposited in two girls account by “someone” to go to Syria. Why the Canadian law enforcement agencies could not trace the source of that money?
8. What Canadian, US, European, Australian, etc. governments have done to interrogate and investigate those Western citizens who went to Syria to fight for DAESH but came back to these countries?  Why these governments cannot find out from them who brainwashed these people? Who funded these people? Who facilitated their travel? Who trained them? What sect of Islam they ALL belong to?  Why this important investigation is not done? Why these walking time bombs are FREE?  Why no government wants to go to the source of the terrorism?

This consistent pattern of turning blind eyes and the deaf ears by the intelligence, law enforcement and the governments towards the terrorists and their organizations make me suspicious about the roles of the intelligence agencies, law enforcement and the governments in this mess.  The spread of terrorism would not be possible without the blessings of those who are apparently trying to stop it but in fact doing nothing to stop it.  This is the only way the weapon industry would not go bankrupt. This is the only way they could stop the fastest growing religion in the world – ISLAM.  This terrorism provides a perfect opportunity to Islamophobes to spew out hate towards Islam and Muslims.  That is why the blind eye and the deaf ears are always turned towards the terrorists and their ideology.  May the terrorists and their breeders vanish and may the peace on this planet prevail.
