Alhamdulillah, the first Friday prayer at the largest mosque in Saskatchewan, Jamia Riyadhul Jannah, Saskatoon, took place last Friday. A large number of Muslims attended the prayer. Masjid is now open for all five prayers and the Friday prayer. Jamia Riyadhul Jannah, Saskatoon is located at 2233 Hanselman Avenue, less than 5 minutes drive from the Saskatoon airport. The masjid property has more than 14,000 square feet covered area and more than 250 parking spaces. Beside men and women prayer areas there will be community centre where community members can hold their private gatherings and social events. A gym will also be available where various indoor sports facilities will be provided.

Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Shabbir Alam Misbahi will be taking on the responsibilities of Imam and Khateeb on Tuesday. He will also be starting the Madrasah and courses on the Islamic education. May Allah bless this masjid and May our Nabi Alaihissalam be pleased with the efforts. May Allah make this masjid the centre for the love and the obedience of Nabi Alaihissalam and Aulia Allah. May Allah make this masjid the centre for learning and spreading Islam in the city of Saskatoon and the province of Saskatchewan, and Canada, Ameen.
