Islamic Association of Canadian Women (IACW)

By the grace of Almighty Allah, the Muslim women of Calgary have taken the initiative to establish Muslim women’s organization in Canada. Following are the objectives of this organization.

1.     Educate Muslim women about the teachings of Islam.

2.     Help Muslim women in reading and understanding the Holy Qur’an.

3.     Promote cooperation and coordination among Muslim women in Canada.

4.     Empower Muslim women in the community.

5.     Help Muslim women in case of domestic violence, discrimination, racism and threats.

6.     Help young girls in social, educational and professional matters.

7.     Organize women gatherings such as Dars-e-Qur’an, Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him), convention and seminars.

  1. Help new immigrant women in learning English and understanding their rights as Canadian citizens.
