Rabbi Dr. Jordan Ofseyer

Rabbi Dr. Jordan Ofseyer is the spiritual leader of Beth Tzedec Synagogue in Calgary. It is the largest Jewish Synagogue in Alberta. Rabbi Ofseyer has taught Jewish Thought in various US universities. He has written articles on Jewish issues in number of publications. Dr. Ofseyer is a regular panelist

 
 


representing Judaism on American Religious Town Hall, an interfaith television program on current issues seen throughout USA and Canada

 

Dat T. Nguyen

Dat Nguyen holds graduate degrees in mathematics and philosophy.  Over a period of seventeen years, he served as a Christian campus minister at McGill University in Montreal and at various universities in Alberta. For the past seven years, he has worked

 
 


as a corporate chaplain in Calgary. Mr. Nguyen is married and has three children.  

 

Dr. Syed Naweed Imam

Dr. Syed Naweed Imam is the Professor and the Head of the Department of Cell Biology & Anatomy at the University of Calgary. He is also the member of Hotchkiss Brain Institute.  Dr. Imam is a member of

 
Calgary’s Muslim community and widely respected by Calgarians for his leadership and contribution in the areas of medicine and community services.  He was on the cover page of Canadian Time Magazine, October 20, 2005 for his pioneer research, “Mind over Matter”. Dr. Imam has received numerous awards including Calgary’s Best Canadian award.

 CBC English and French Television News.  Richard worked as the Senior Producer for CBC Television Current Affairs based in Toronto and was responsible for the nightly television information program, The Journal. Richard was the senior producer for CBC Radio Current Affairs programs such as Sunday Morning and As it Happens.  Richard has a degree in Political Science from the University of California and a diploma in Journalism from Mount Royal College, Calgary. Richard was born in a refugee camp in Austria at end of World War Two.  He Immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1948. Richard is married with two children.

 

Syed B. Soharwardy

Syed B. Soharwardy is the president of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada and Muslims Against Terrorism, which he founded in Calgary in 1998. Syed Soharwardy also founded Muslim Free Press in 2006.
