ISCC and MAT Strongly Condemn Today’s Attacks in Ottawa

(Calgary) The Muslim Against Terrorism and the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada strongly condemn today’s terrorist attacks in Ottawa. According to the media reports one soldier was shot at the War Memorial and he died later. Another security guard was injured at the Parliament Hill. The alleged attacker was also later shot dead by the Police.

Our thoughts and the prayers are with the victims and their families.  This is a very sad and disturbing situation for all Canadians.  We pray for the speedy and full recovery of the injured security guard. We are confident that the criminals will be identified and brought to justice.  The Canadian Muslim community stand with the Canadian government and supports all the efforts to identify and capture the terrorists.  Once again our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
