ISCC Holds Muslim Unity Conference

Shia – Sunni Unity Conference on Sunday in Calgary

Calgary) While the fanatics are creating violence between Shia and Sunni Muslims in Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, etc. the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) is trying to unite both Shia and Sunni Muslims in Canada. “I strongly believe that the worldwide Muslims should follow the Canadian model for the better relationships among Shia and Sunni Muslims”, said Imam Syed Soharwardy, the founder of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada.

The cordial interfaith and intra-faith relationships in Canada are the best model for the entire world to follow. On Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 4:30 PM this Canadian model of unity will be on display at the Whitehorn Community Centre,  228 Whitehorn Road, Calgary NE.  Several Shia and Sunni Scholars will be together to remember the martyrdom of the Grandson of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

For more information please contact Imam Syed Soharwardy at 403-831-6330.

Thanks
