Interfaith Dialogue

MAT offers FREE lectures to create awareness about the Islamic beliefs in North America. MAT founder, Prof.  Imam Syed Soharwardy gives lectures on various related topics and answers the questions raised by the participants. Several churches, institutions, schools and universities have invited Prof. Soharwardy for lectures to learn about the teachings of Islam and the Muslim perspective on the current issues.

Note: The interfaith meetings during Multifaith Walk Against Violence are not included in this list.

From April 20th to October 28, 2008, Prof. Soharwardy walked more than 6500 KM from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Columbia. During this walk, he met thousands of Canadians and discussed with them the teachings of Islam and the issue of violence in the society.

Also, Prof. Soharwardy attends regular scheduled meetings with three interfaith groups. These regular meetings are not listed below.
