Interfaith Dialogues & Islam 101 Classes

MAT offers FREE courses including the most famous Islam 101 to create awareness about the Islamic beliefs in North America. MAT founder, Prof. Imam Syed Soharwardy gives lectures on various related topics and answers the questions raised by the participants. Several churches, institutions, schools and universities have invited Prof. Soharwardy for lectures to learn about the teachings of Islam and the Muslim perspective on the current issues.

From April 20^th to October 28, 2008, Prof. Soharwardy walked more than 6500 KM from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Columbia. During this walk, he met thousands of Canadians and discussed with them the teachings of Islam and the issue of violence in the society. The interfaith meetings during this walk are not included below. Moreover, Prof. Soharwardy attends regular scheduled meetings with three interfaith groups. These regular meetings are not listed below.
