Support for Fort McMurray
(Calgary) Islamic Supreme Council of Canada, Sayyidah Fatemah Food Bank and Al Madinah Calgary Islamic Assembly are collecting relief items such as diapers, undergarment clothing, Socks, toothpaste and brushes, etc. for the evacuees of Fort McMurray fire. All items must be new and must be in original packing. The relief items can be dropped off at the Green Dome Mosque, 4616 – 80th Avenue, NE Calgary.
Imam Syed Soharwardy along with several volunteers will be leaving Calgary on Friday to take the relief items and distribute to the victims of fire in Fort McMurray.
Moreover, Green Dome mosque welcomes the evacuees to stay at the mosque for the time they need shelter. We can accommodate five to six families at the mosque.
We stand together with the city of Fort McMurray and its residents. We pray for the victims and support them at this time of sufferings.
