Salam Alaikum WRB Hope your well. I had some questions for you & hope you can help me or guide me to the right place. Can I please warn you that it might seem explicit. Approx 5 years ago I was involved in a major RTA. I was left paralysed waist down & use a wheelchair to move around. I am able to move my upper body including arms, eat & drink myself and my brains functions normal. However, I don’t have the ability to urinate (normally i use a catheter), I also have no feelings down below at my private parts, so I can’t have sexual intercourse. 1) My question is am I allowed to get married in this condition providing I inform the female of all the above? 2) There are some women known to have loss of sexual desire also called (medical term) hypoactive sexual desire order HSDD. Some other females hate intercourse and some only want to have intercourse 1 time every 3 months (according to some research), considering the above am I allowed to get married to a female with such a condition? 3) I have also heard from a friend who is not religious that If I can please my wife (to be) other than having sexual intercourse, so apart from penis & vaginal penetration like outercourse – am I allowed to get married? Basically I want to know if I can get married with my condition before I approach my parents. Can you please answer the above in light of the Quran & Sunnah. I would appreciate it so much. Thank you for your time. M. Saqlain (24 years old) U.K

Wa Alykum Assalam
Yes you can get married provided that you inform your future wife and her family completely about your physical and mental conditions. You should enjoy your married life. May Allah help you. Ameen
