QuestionsCategory: PrayersValidity of Jumma Prayers

Salam Aleykum,
I have a question regarding the validity of Jumma prayers.
I work in an office and the closest place to offer congregational Jumma is 3.1 kms away. We need to drive to the musalla to offer Jumma. We have around 7 brothers in office. We have a room in the office where we can pray Jumma where one of the brothers can lead the prayer.
There is a difference of opinion among brothers.
Some of the brothers are of the opinion that we should pray in the office as the minimum requirement as mentioned by Imam Ash-Shawkani is, “The other Prayers are considered to be made in congregation if there are two people present. The same applies to Friday Prayer, unless there is a reason for it to be different. There is no evidence to show that [for the purpose of the congregation]its number should be larger than that for the other Prayers.”
Some of them are of the opinion that we need to go the musalla to offer prayers as there are other requirements to hold a Jumma prayers. Including that the place where Jumma is held should have unrestricted access to any Muslim as mentioned in book Nur Al Idah by Hasan Shurunbulali. And also you need more than 2 people for the Jumma to be valid.
Can you please explain in brief what are the minimum requirements to hold a Jumma and given our condition whether we can pray Jumma at office or should we go to the Musalla? Can you please also give the daleel or hadith reference on your ruling?
