The Executive Council of ISCC endorses Patrick Brown for Conservative Party Leadership
(Calgary) The executive council of Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) has decided to endorse and support Mr. Patrick Brown for the leadership of the Federal Conservative Party of Canada. Mr. Patrick Brown is the only Conservative leader who has several years proven track record, which clearly shows his position on racism, discrimination, immigration, antisemitism, Islamophobia and equal rights of all Canadians. He stood up against Stephen Harper’s very racist “Niqab Ban” and “Spying on Muslim neighbours” policies. He stood up against Quebec’s racist Bill-21. Mr. Brown is the leader of inclusion and stands up for the rights of all visible and religious minorities.
“In my opinion, it is the best opportunity for the members of the Conservative Party to make Conservative Party of Canada, the party of inclusion for all Canadians especially the Muslim Canadians. I am sure if Patrick Brown becomes the leader of the Conservative Party, he can be the catalyst to bring that change”, said Imam Syed Soharwardy, the founder of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada.
