ISCC and MAT Welcome the Govt of Canada’s Decision to Designate 13 Extremists Organizations as Terrorists Organizations

(Calgary) Islamic Supreme Council of Canada and Muslims Against Terrorism welcome Canadian government’s decision to designate 13 extremist violent organizations as terrorist organizations. This is the right decision to protect the security and safety of Canada and all Canadians. ISCC and MAT have been pointing out for some time that the neo-Nazis and racist groups have been actively recruiting and carrying out their hateful activities across the country. During the last four years, the rise in anti-immigrant movements, anti-Semites, Islamophobes and White-Supremacists have been a huge concern for Canadians.
“We fully support our government’s decision to ban such hatemongers in Canada. They have no place in Canada”, said Imam Syed Soharwardy, the founder of ISCC and MAT.
During the Black History month making a courageous decision to stop racism, violence and hate speech in Canada is a noble act. We are thankful to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Minister Bill Blair for taking the forward steps towards making Canada safer for all Canadians. May God bless and safeguard Canada and all Canadians.
