There were confirmed sightings of the hilal for the month of Ramadan on the eve of Friday, 29th Shaban 1443/1 April, 2022. Therefore, Shaban will be 29 days and the Hilal Committee of Canada declares Saturday, 2nd April, 2022 to be the 1st of Ramadan, 1443. The moon was sighted in San Diego.
