(Mississauga)  Jamia Riyadhul Jannah (JRJ) is a mosque in Mississauga, Ontario. This mosque was opened last year in August. This is a Sufi Muslim mosque where everyone is welcome.
By the grace of almighty Allah, Jamia Riyadhul Jannah has taken another step to serve the community and breakdown the barriers. This is the first mosque in North America where daily Hot Meal will be served during lunch and dinner hours to everyone who comes.
On Friday, September 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM, “We Care” – Daily Free Lunch & Dinner” will be opened for general public.  Jamia Riyadhul Jannah invites people of all faiths including agnostics and atheists to attend the opening ceremony of this project.
On behalf of JRJ we invite all faith based organizations, churches, synagogues, temples, places of worship, individuals, religious leaders and community leaders to attend this groundbreaking project initiated by a mosque in North America.
We invite Canadian media organizations; newspapers, TV and radio to send their representatives to attend the opening of this unique project.
Several dignitaries and community leaders will be attending the event.
“We hope this project will motivate other mosques and Muslim organizations to work outside their own communities and become part of mainstream Canadian society. We need to breakdown silos around us and bring new and old immigrants closer to each other in order to build stronger, safer and better Canada”, said Imam Syed Soharwardy, the founder and the chairman of JRJ.
