ISCC Strongly Condemns Violence Against Egyptian People

(Calgary) – The Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) strongly condemns today’s brutal attacks on the innocent people of Egypt. The brutality of Egyptian forces against the innocent Egyptians must be condemned by the Canadian and all the democratic governments.  The killings of innocent people who were peacefully demanding their rights are deplorable and shocking. The violence unleashed in Egypt is unwanted and unacceptable.

ISCC asks the international community to stand up for the human rights of Egyptian people and help in protecting the right of free speech of the Egyptian people.

The ISCC founder Imam Syed Soharwardy is asking all Canadians to show solidarity with the people of Egypt who are suffering from the injustice and brutality of undemocratic puppet government in Egypt.

ISCC expresses deep sympathies with the victims of today’s extremely violent attacks on the Egyptian people by the Egyptian armed forces. We pray and stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers in sisters in Egypt. We pray for the victory of justice and democracy in Egypt.
