Islamic Supreme Council of Canada Establishes Muslim Board of Education

(Mississauga, Ontario) The Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council Canada, Imam Syed Soharwardy will announce the establishment of Canadian Muslim Board of Education tomorrow at the Jamia Riyadhul Jannah, 6680 Campobello Road, Mississauga, Ontario at 7:30 PM. This is a major milestone for the Canadian Muslims to establish academic institutions in Canada based upon the federal and provincial / territorial laws and the Islamic faith.

“I am going to provide the details of our vision and plan to establish “Muslim Board of Education” just like we have Catholic Board of Education”, Imam Soharwardy said in a statement today.

This is not a parallel education system for Muslims. Sharia is not coming to Canada, please don’t worry. This is all about another option Canadians will have. Canadian laws and system allow Catholic Board of Education publicly funded by tax payers why not Muslim Board of Education?
