ISCC and MAT Condemn Paris Terror Attack

(Calgary) The Muslims Against Terrorism (MAT) and the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) strongly condemn the attacks on the Paris office of the French weekly Charlie Hebdo.

According to the media reports twelve people were killed in the attacks.  The perpetrators escaped by car and remain at large.  The attackers reportedly shouted sentences which apparently connect them with the Muslim community.

We condemn these barbaric un-Islamic attacks.  Our condolences go out to the victims and their families for this senseless act of violence. We hope that police will catch these criminals and bring them to justice. ISCC and MAT stand shoulder to shoulder with families and the staff at the Charlie Hebdo.
