ISCC and MAT Strongly Condemn Terrorist Attacks in Paris
Islamic Supreme Council of Canada and Muslims Against Terrorism strongly condemn today’s terrorist attacks in Paris. “The Muslim community in Canada and around the world is shocked and saddened by these attacks. The attackers must be brought to justice and punished”, said Imam Syed Soharwardy, founder of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada and Muslims Against Terrorism today.
Regardless what the attackers were shouting at the time of attacks and whatever their names may be we Muslims do not consider them Muslims. The attacks in Paris are in fact attacks on Islam and Muslims too. ISCC and MAT express deep sympathies with the victims and their families. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our French brothers and sisters. This is indeed a very difficult time for France. The Muslim community stands with the people of France at this difficult time.
ISCC and MAT founder Imam Syed Soharwardy will be addressing a media briefing tomorrow, November 14, 2015 at 4:30 PM at 13416 – 62 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. For more information please call at 778-863-3331 OR 416-994-5467.
