ISCC Strongly Condemns the Massacre of Christians in Pakistan

Calgary) The Islamic Supreme Council of Canada strongly condemns today’s attacks on an Anglican Church in Northwestern Pakistan which has killed more than 75 people and wounded hundreds of Christian worshipers. The All Saints Church was a historic church in Northern Pakistan. According to media reports the Taliban has accepted the responsibility of these heinous crimes.

“Those suicide bombers and their supporters are criminals and must be brought to justice. Although, they call themselves Muslims but overwhelming majority of Muslims do not accept them as a part of the Muslim community”, said Imam Syed Soharwardy today. They are thugs and coward terrorists who have been funded by the foreign governments and organizations. They must be confronted and stopped.

The Islamic Supreme Council of Canada and its affiliate organizations, executives and members express their deep sadness on this tragedy. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the Christian community in Pakistan.

Once again we urge all the governments in all countries to declare WAHABISM a terrorist ideology and the followers of Wahabism an illegal terrorist cult. Unless all the western, eastern, Muslim and non-Muslim countries take this necessary step the Wahabis will continue to create chaos.  These suicide bombings have nothing to do with Islam and Muslims. These are carried out by the followers of Wahabism who look like Muslims and pray like Muslims but they are agents of EVIL.
