Local imam leads discussion about concerns over radicalization of young Calgarians
Sun, Oct 5 : A memorial service was held in Calgary Saturday for Alan Henning and other Christians beheaded by Isis. The service was led by local imam Syed Soharwardy at a hall in northeast Calgary. Following the ceremony, the imam led a discussion about the radicalization of young Calgarians, saying it’s a challenge to monitor mosques that may be preaching hate.
