Syrian & Iraqi Refugees Must Be Helped Immediately
(Calgary) The Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC) strongly urges the Canadian government and all the political parties to take immediate actions to help the Syrian and the Iraqi refugees. No one should be using this human crisis for political benefits. The response from the Canadian government is disappointing and inadequate. The Canadian government must take immediate actions to provide home to thousands of homeless desperate dying human beings.
ISCC strongly condemns the inhuman behaviour of Middle Eastern governments for not helping the refugees. The rich governments of Middle East spend trillions of dollars on their useless armed forces and on Royal Families but they are not willing to provide shelter to the most destitute people of the Middle East.
Where are the religious leaders of Saudi Arabia and the other Middle Eastern Muslim countries? Why they are not speaking out against their own governments’ inactions? Why they don’t remember that one day they will be answering to Allah for not helping the desperate displaced Muslims of the region by speaking out against the deaf and the blind Muslim governments in the region? They preach in their Friday sermons the importance of helping the destitute Muslims around the world. It is now time to prove through actions. Moreover, ISCC strongly condemns ISIS (DAESH) for displacing millions of Muslims and making them refugees, and destroying human heritage in Syria and Iraq.
ISCC thanks the German and the French governments for providing home to thousands of refugees. ISCC requests the other European and the Canadian governments to take immediate action and provide new homes to the millions of refugees.
